While this family of fungi is building a reputation as a biological gold-mine, United States legislature still actively prohibits the cultivation and possession of the species due to their natural production of the controlled substance “Psilocybin.” Multiple universities around the country are conducting sanctioned, legislated, and controlled studies surrounding this substance, but at-home cultivation is still a violation of the Controlled Substances Act.
Our mission is to advance the field of mycology research by making such a promising science accessible to more people. Our vision is that we are eventually able to harnesses all the resources provided by the Earth to better the world for one another. If we want to make that vision into our future we have to work within the system we want to change, and that means we have to comply with the laws as they stand while we work to make them better. As such, we are unable to serve anyone who exhibits an intent to break the law. If at any point during our interactions we have reason to believe our products will be used to engage in illegal activity, we will immediately terminate our relationship with that customer and prohibit them from placing future orders on our site.
