Pre-Sterilized Redboy Cubensis Spore Syringe for Microscopy
Redboy is a unique variety of the Psilocybe cubensis species that produces dark red spores. That is in stark contrast to most Cubensis varieties which produce dark purple spores. Redboy was revived in the early 2000’s by the legendary mycologist known as RogerRabbit. He allowed a Puerto Rican isolate to colonize over some unviable Redboy spores to produce a 50/50 cross, using rattlesnake venom to allow the two varieties to exchange genetic information despite the original Redboy spores’ unviability. He repeated this advanced technique with the offspring to produce a 75/25 cross of Redboy and Puerto Rican, and that final cross is what Michigan Myco offers in spore syringes for Psilocybe cubensis spore collectors.
