Hillbilly is a variety of Psilocybe cubensis named after its creator. It is unclear what the variety was isolated from, but it does seem that Hillbilly was created in the state of Arkansas. Hillbilly first gained popularity in the mid 2000’s for its reported aggressive colonization.
