Despite its name, Hawaiian cubensis was not first identified in Hawaii, and in fact there are no signs that any cubensis strains grow naturally in Hawaii at all. This varieties name comes from its creator, the Hawaiian spore vendor Pacifica Exotica Spora. Hawaiian is reportedly a quick fruiter with medium thickness stems and dense fruits. The fruits grow to medium height and end with yellow to brownish caps and a unique texture that resembles suede, according to grower reports. Hawaiian has a long history, making it an amazing variety for Psilocybe cubensis spore collectors.
