City of Ferndale Decriminalizes Entheogenic Plants & Fungi

  • News

Michigan Myco is thrilled to hear the great city of Ferndale has joined many cities across our country in decriminalizing Psychedelic Mushrooms! Thanks to the efforts of a group called Decriminalize Nature and their Ferndale chapter, the Ferndale City Council passed a resolution to decriminalize Entheogenic plants and fungi on February 27, 2023, making Ferndale the fourth city in the state to pass entheogen-related resolutions.

With over 30 million people in the US psychedelic community, and countless undeniable medicinal benefits being uncovered, it is a no brainer to legalize the possession and use of these naturally occurring substances.

Meetings for legalization are happening every day and we could not be more thrilled. DNMI is targeting the 2024 election for their state-wide ballot, and in the meantime working to get more Michigan cities signed up and garner public support. We hope more cities and states across the country start to recognize the benefits of psychedelics and see life through a new lens!
